Building on the success of the previous AR filter we made for their social channels UEA wanted to celebrate college and 6th form results day in 2022. They had only recently started a TikTok account and the main objective of the project was to grow this channel to increase their brand awareness on the platform. They asked us to develop a fun social AR filter for TikTok, which would give new students attending UEA come September an enjoyable way to celebrate their results by engaging with the UEA brand.
The concept we came up with was simple but visually fun,by augmenting a cool pair of 3D sunglasses onto the user and incorporating UEA's brand colours and key buildings from the campus into the frame.
