I'm Ryan, an AR industry professional with over two years of experience specialising in Web Augmented Reality (WebAR). My journey in digital artistry began with a BA in 3D Environment Art and advanced with a master's degree focusing on Extended Reality (XR). Combining creative vision with technical expertise, I excel in creating immersive and interactive AR experiences. A fast learner who thrives on challenges, I leverage strong and creative problem-solving skills to find effective solutions and deliver exceptional results.

3D Modelling

I am an accomplished 3D modeller with over 10 years of experience, including more than 2 years working on client projects. Proficient in Maya, Blender, Substance Painter and Photoshop, my work spans various art styles; I excel in creating high-quality assets through detailed modelling, UV mapping, and texturing. I am skilled in optimising 3D assets to adhere to performance constraints of the target platform, be it VR, AR, or web-based AR, while maintaining high quality and detail. Additionally, I have experience with Unity and Unreal Engine, where I craft visually stunning environments and AR experiences utilising shader graphs, VFX, lighting, post-processing, and visual scripting (blueprinting).

Skilled in using industry-leading technologies including 8th Wall and Zappar’s SDKs, to deliver world-tracked, marker-tracked, and face-augmented experiences.
